Intro to Drumming May 22nd

Service Description

Alex is a local drummer that has been drumming for over 20 years. He has provided drumming at local renaissance fairs, belly dance shows, and drum circles. Alex will be teaching basic hand drumming for first time drummers, showing you the basics of the dum, tek and ka and a few rhythms. We have several styles of drums to show and practice on. Please bring a drum if you have one. We do have a limited number to share and class size is limited to available drums. Class is 715pm - 815pm. After the lesson you can practice the rhythms with your drum or practice your dance steps with the live drumming, so bring your hip scarves, veils and finger cymbals! Please bring water. Azale will be providing light refreshments. You are always welcomed to bring a dish to share. Sign up early for this event as I will be limiting attendees to the amount of drums available. No experience necessary. You will have the option to pay with Pay Pal through this registration or in class with cash or check. You may also pay using Venmo. Cancelation Policy

There are no make up classes, student are responsible for their schedule. If classes are canceled due to weather and the building closes, class will be made up at the end of the session at the same time and day. If you are not happy after the first class you have 48 hours to contact me for a refund for the remaining of the classes and the class is charged at $15. There are no refunds for drop in classes or workshops. There are no refunds for shows.
